Wet dogs

If you know me, you know I love dogs. For the majority of my life I have had a dog in my home and love their companionship. 

Last week I had been assigned to go to the West Valley Family Fitness Center where the pool was opened to dogs before it was a closed for a couple weeks for it's annual tune-up. 

It was a fun assignment to shoot and the fact my subjects were truly in it for the fun and not reacting to the camera made it better. 

I had asked about wadding in the pool to get a different really up-close prospective of the dogs having fun but was informed that I would not be allowed to because the county health department deemed it unsafe. 

Go figure.
